The Tree bag is a fully biodegradable designer bag, entirely made out of materials from trees. It combines a completely sustainable design with quality, beauty and elegance. The bag stands out because of its unique material and first-rate craftsmanship. The Sheep sleeves are fully biodegradable sleeves, made out of first-rate natural wool. All details are thoughtfully designed and all materials are selected with care. All materials are completely biodegradable, so at the end of their long lifespan, the sleeves can be composted and return to nature.

Nachhaltigkeitskriterien
Our final product is completely biodegradable. All other elements of the bag are also specially developed and come from trees as well: the clasp and handle from durable walnut wood and the inner pocket from wood pulp fabric. Everything is polished, dyed and sewn together with natural materials, such as bee wax, plant extracts and flax. Not a single non-natural or toxic material is used.

reWrap works according the Cradle to Cradle principle. This means reWrap works with 100% biodegradable materials, 100% renewable energy and 100% social production. reWrap developed a special sturdy and water-resistant material, which gives also the tree bag its natural and outspoken look: coconut fibres pressed together with sun-dried natural rubber. Coconut fibres normally are a waste product (so no innocent coconuts are harmed for the production) and natural rubber is biodegradable, contrary to its vulcanised industrial variant.
